I hope to give back to the community where I teach by gifting my book to each of the kindergarten students in my Queens class.  My school is a Title I school such that a high percentage of children come from low-income households. My goal is at the end of the school year to hand an autographed copy of Sammy and the Magical Wand to each of the 30 children I have taught.

Behind the Author
Mindy Zaidman was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She is a professional educator who teaches special education in Queens while devoting herself to her husband and two children. From a young age, Mindy dreamed of becoming an author. With the birth of her first child, inspiration struck.
